The international Conference on Sustainable
Development aims to bring together students, faculty, professionals,
government leaders, practitioners, and world figures to discuss,
examine, and propose solutions to the most pressing development
problems. Themes covered include: Growth and Globalization; Governance
and Politics, Human rights, Environment, Technology, and Sustainable
Development; Education and Development; Social entrepreneurship, and
Health and Development. For more information on the topics please visit
call for papers.
Please submit your registration with the
appropriate registration fee to the conference secretariat. Your
registration will come with a unique reference number. You
may need to provide the reference number on the subject line for all
types of communication including e-mail, fax and regular mail. If you
failed to do so reply to your inquiries will be indefinitely delayed.
Visa requirements
and responsibility:
Registration at the Conference is required of all attendees.
An author of each accepted
paper is required to register and attend the conference, and present the
paper. For delegates planning to attend the conference, an entrance visa
may be required and you should contact the nearest Embassy or Consulate
for more information. The organizers do not accept responsibility for
any personal injury, damage, or loss of property which may occur in
connection with this conference. All participants are advised to arrange
international health insurance before departure from their home
countries. In general, the visa process takes months. Please make sure
to apply for a visa well in advance.
*Conference registration will include a conference bag, book of abstracts in a
USB, Meet and Greet event on July 31,
2012 with coffee and buffet dinner, dinner on August 01, 2012 and,
lunches and coffee breaks for both August 01, August 02 and entrance all conference sessions.
*Student ID is required for the student rate.
*Abstracts
will be included in the proceedings (OIDA
Conference Abstracts ISSN: 1923:6670)
once payment is received by the secretariat.
*Conference fee also
includes publication cost on the
OIDA International Journal of Sustainable Development ISSN 1923 -
6654 (print) and ISSN 1923 - 6662 (online). The Journal's print version
will be available at $70.00 per copy upon request and also subjected to
shipping and handling.
