Sri Lanka Consul General in Toronto Hon. C S Poolokasingham attended the event as a Chief Guest and both Sudbury Doctors Dr. Brian Lynch and Dr. Sham Merali received "Humanitarian Scroll of Honour 2005" for their relief efforts in Sri Lanka. City of Greater Sudbury Mayor Hon. David Courtemanche presented special memorable gift to Hon. C S Poolokasingham at this event.
