Career Expo 2003 (November)
program organized to help newcomers, professionals and mature students
with children, refugees and non working women to enhance their career and
find new career avenues. Program mainly focus on communities in Canada to
find suitable jobs and quickly integrate to Canadian labour force. Ontario
International Development Agency (OIDA) understood difficulties immigrants
are facing to find suitable jobs according to their qualifications and categorized
this problem as a important humanitarian issue. Most of them either under
employed or under paid. Career Expo 2003 is a joint project with Canada
Career Consortium. Career Expo 2003 consists of two parts and
first part is a Career Forum and second part is a Career Fair. Career Fair
gave an opportunity to meet academic professionals and representative from
many organizations to meet all participants to one to one basis. Career
Expo 2003 program delivered through Ontario Sri Lankans Foundation.

the Career fair to provide information for Canadian Forces, Ontario
