Ontario International Development Agency* (OIDA) and Mr. Dayawansa Wickramasinghe, Social Worker in Toronto and Sri Lankan community warmly welcome new Sri Lanka Consul General C S Poolokasingham at the Regal Constellation Hotel, Toronto. Ambassador C S Poolokasingham Government of Sri Lanka's highest representative in Toronto. Hon Poolokasingham assured his extend cooperation and assistance to work with all and also would seek support and assistance in the execution of the functions of the Consulate General to the best of his ability. New Consul General stated that as part of his extending a helping hand to Sri Lankan community, the working hours of the Consulate have been extended from May 2003 by one hour each day from 9.00am to 1.00pm. Ontario International Development Agency (OIDA) closely work with new consul general to deliver our poverty alleviation projects to Sri Lanka. Welcome again Hon. C S Poolokasingham. *Importance of forming International Development Agency idea stated at this event. |
